Thank you for choosing Main Street as your dance school. We are dedicated to the enjoyable task of not only teaching you to dance, but also witnessing your mental, physical, emotional and artistic growth.
To our parents, we hope that by enrolling your child with us, you intend to take an active part in helping your dancer - by a genuine, enthusiastic interest in not only your child's progression but also in the art of dance itself. You must also trust that we will make decisions in your child's best interests. His/her welfare is first and foremost. We hope that your experience with us will be a memorable and meaningful one. |

Hailing from Edmundston, NB, Tammy Golla began her dance career in high school, forming the student company “Emotions en Motion” in 1986. The company is still going strong, being handed down from year to year, from student to student. In 1994, Tammy became artistic director of the “Main Street Dance Studio” and has since built a student base of over 350 students, making “Main Street” the largest, most successful dance school from Québec city to Fredericton. By taking master classes and working with guest teachers on a regular basis, Tammy stays on the cutting edge of jazz, hip-hop and lyrical dance. Her students are the proof, winning over and over again, at competition after competition. Tammy’s classes are always high energy and fun, with an emphasis on technique and artistic expression. Students are sure to come away feeling renewed and challenged.

Alexandra has been dancing with Main Street since she was 5 years old. Now, at the ripe old age of 14, Alexandra has begun our teacher in training program, after assisting Tina for the past three years. Not only is she a wonderfully expressive dancer, she is also fabulous with young children. Her fresh and lively choreography is sure to please her Jazz 2B class, as well as her Jazz 1A class. She will be joined by Joanie Gagnon, who has proven to be a wonderful asset to our young dancers, teaching Jazz 1 & 2 classes last year. Joanie is always smiling and brings sunshine to every class.
